It's a good idea but so far nobody has really come up with a good way of implementing it yet. How do you define "normal" under those conditions? Say, 50,000 -75,000 employees spread throughout the globe, speaking different languages, goign to different sites. Now let's do this for an enterprise-level network. If you are being consistent then you will research the exact origin of that IP in your network logs-which site was it? What was being served from that IP? Odds are you are not going to do it, if you are like most people. Every time you encounter a new one you have to whitelist it. Kaspersky Free is the free anchor for the new Kaspersky line the not-free Kaspersky Standard, Plus, and Premium all build on the same antivirus engine. So, still, let's say you have whitelisted (noted as "approved") all of those IPs. Kaspersky is also a good antivirus if trust issues are not involved. But at least for now, were removing Kaspersky products from our Best. Personally as a user I recommend ESET and Emsisoft. And the IP of everything serving a third-party advertisement on pages you browse from reddit or facebook. Weve left the reviews in place, with a warning, since they provide useful information. Ok, there are those IPs, but then there is the IP of everything you click on when you're on reddit. Say you look at facebook, reddit, and gmail (and porn). If we're only talking about your home computer, maybe. It's a good idea, but implementation is not so easy. These are not script-kiddie-level questions.
